No elimination — but not a free pass either

The makers cancelled the traditional first-week elimination, meaning none of the four nominated contestants — Arishfa Khan, Kanika Mann, Love Gill and Uditi Singh — left the house outright. Instead, Salman Khan revealed the result of the audience vote under the season’s new two-lives format.

Uditi Singh received the least support from the four nominees and lost the first of her two lives. She remains in the house, but a second lowest-vote result at any future nomination round would end her run.

Reading the twist

The two-lives system changes how early weeks play out: instead of one contestant leaving immediately, the show gets a longer runway to develop rivalries and storylines before eliminations start biting for real. It also means audience voting patterns from week one carry forward — Uditi Singh now enters week two with less margin for error than her housemates.
